Netcam Studio Overview

Netcam Studio is the successor to webcamXP, the popular software for webcams and network cameras monitoring by Moonware Studios.

No license or membership is required to use features such as motion detection and remote monitoring from another computer, a phone or a tablet. The free version allows to connect 2 video sources.

The official Netcam Studio Clients (Windows, Web, Smartphone and Tablet) are free and can be installed on as many devices as needed. The Web API allows to you to create your own clients or to operate with other applications in any programming language.

Remote Monitoring

No matter where you are, if you have internet, you can quickly review the last alerts and what is going on in real-time. Check it on your phone, in your browser, or using a full featured client like Netcam Studio Windows Client.

Motion and Speed Detection

The motion and speed detection algorithm makes Netcam Studio to react only if needed. Using the rule manager, you define your own internal or external actions such as: controlling the lights, playing sounds or sending notifications.

Audio Detection

You can reinforce detection and rely not only on the video but also on sound. If you have microphones or sound-capable network cameras, Netcam Studio can listen to the area and trig actions as soon as it detects something.

Email and SMS notifications

Know what is going on in monitored area during the scheduled periods directly on your phone by getting email notifications. Getting information on time allows you to take appropriate measures if something unsual is going on.

Home Monitoring

Don't leave your home without protection when you leave for a weekend, a business trip or holidays. No matter where you are, if you have access to internet you can quickly review what is going on and check the last alerts. You can also combine Netcam Studio and your home automation system in order to turn on a light or change the room's temperature upon specific rule or schedule.

Shop / Office Monitoring

Keep your belongings under control during nights and weekends. You can also keep recordings for a couple of days, and synchronize the alerts remotely in case the surveillance computer gets stolen.
